Immediate assistance needed

Dear Alumni Member,

On 24th January a fire broke out causing major damage to a room in the Bloemfontein Hostel. Fortunately no one was hurt but the two occupants of the room have lost all their belongings that were in that room. This includes their medical books, lecture notes, stethoscopes, clinical coats and other personal equipment.

These two students are currently in their fourth year and are having ongoing clinical rotations and will be sitting their module examinations in one month's time.

The Medical Faculty Students' Union has sent us a request for assistance on behalf of these two students with a view to replacing some of their textbooks and clinical equipment so that they could continue with their academic activities. A list of textbooks that had been lost are as follows;

In addition, they will need to purchase new stethoscopes and clinical coats for their clinical rotations. They have lost most of their lecture notes of the modules done so far and will probably need to photocopy them again.
